Genesis Varsity Tigers Dominate in Friendly Away Match at Binus Serpong Thursday, 11 September 2025
Last Thursday marked a proud milestone for the Varsity Team of Genesis Global Community School, as they played their first away friendly match against Binus Serpong at Sjuman Hall.
Facing the Binus Stinger basketball team from Binus Serpong, our Genesis Tigers demonstrated outstanding teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the game. With high energy from the opening whistle, the team quickly took control of the court and maintained momentum until the final buzzer. The match ended in a decisive 17–50 victory in favor of Genesis.
More than just a win, the game showcased the students’ commitment to practice, strategic gameplay, and unity as a team. Coaches, teachers, and supportive parents were also present, creating a positive atmosphere that truly uplifted the players.
This friendly match not only served as a valuable learning experience but also as a strong beginning for what we hope will be many future opportunities to grow in sportsmanship, skill, and school spirit.

Parents’ Full Support Energizes Tigers at Friendly Match
Tangerang, 11 September 2025 – The strong presence of Genesis parents made the recent Varsity Basketball scrimmage against Binus Serpong at Sjuman Hall a truly memorable event.
From the team’s departure at school to the final buzzer, parents filled the stands with cheers and encouragement. Their energy lifted the players’ spirits and inspired the team to play with confidence, unity, and pride.
“Having our parents cheer for us really motivates the team and makes every play more exciting,” shared Coach Zack.
This friendly game showcased not only the hard work and progress of our student-athletes, but also the deep partnership between families and the school in nurturing a vibrant, supportive learning environment.
